Ferrari has announced they are going to name their 2024
Formula One challenger the F20242. The firm said in a press release that it
will be shown for the first time on the day after the second Tuesday in January
in a portable tent in a field somewhere near Maranello.
Ferrari said that the name for the F20242, the 69th
Formula One car they have made partly came
from putting the year in the name and adding on how many cylinders the engine
will have, and also partly because nobody could be bothered to come up with a snappier
name.
The Italian company also reminded us that this is the 69th
year that they will be competing in the championship and they have all of the
important records. Their press officer refused to give out any details about the new car, but I am currently bribing him with a young model. Because in 2024, Ferrari's press officer will be Silvio Berlusconi.
